Not too long ago, my good friend and fellow photographer Brenden Murphy, of So Cute Photo, and I, decided to get together and shoot each other in the face! (Sorry, lame photographer's joke, I just couldn't help myself). It was high time that we both got some updated headshots, not to mention it's rare that we ourselves step out from behind the camera for a little fun and glamor. The most recent professional portraits I had of myself were from my wedding, which are lovely. But I needed some images looking a little more normal and a little less "bridey", and Brenden was looking to switch things up with a more grown-up subject, since she primarily photographs newborns.
We took some lovely images near a few cherry blossom trees in the late afternoon/early evening, hoping to catch some of that gorgeous warm natural light before sunset.

Brenden was really rocking the blush pink, it truly complements her skin tone!
I love getting the opportunity to work with fellow photographers, I always learn so much, and it's a lot of fun! Brenden is a very talented photographer, so I feel like she challenges and encourages me to try new things and learn more about my equipment and my craft.

| I was also able to create this lovely sample product after my session with Brenden. I call them Photo Blocks. The image is printed on metallic photo paper and adhered to a sturdy (but light weight) 1 1/2 inch backing, which allows the image to pop out from the wall. Photo Blocks come in either rectangular or square shapes, in several different sizes. Shown here is a 10x10 square which is $165.00 a la carte, but is also available in several of my Wall Art Collections along with lots of other goodies.
