I love to take family portraits in the fall and wintertime, with pretty fall leaves and everyone bundled up in sweaters and boots. But this time of year in the Monterey Bay, you never quite know what to expect from the weather. For Jessica's family session with her 2 boys, we went to Lover's Point in Pacific Grove to take advantage of the gorgeous blue sky we had that day. With the sun shining so bright and warm, you would never have known that we did this in mid-November!

I love Christmas cards. And I especially get a treat out of seeing my images on Christmas cards from my clients! This year I decided to offer a special Mini Session specifically for this purpose. The package included a quick mini family session, an 8x10 mounted print, and a set of lovely foil-pressed Holiday Cards. For her cards, Jessica went with a classic yellow gold "Noel" design that really complimented the yellow and blues color scheme. We put a low-opacity image on the back so she could write personal messages for family and friends. I am so pleased with how they came out, but more importantly my client loved them as well!

We also put the best image on one of my favorite items, a Luxe Metal print. The image came out so crisp, clear and colorful! It's definitely the perfect unique gift for any parent or grandparent, and just in time for Christmas!
