Well luckily, I know just how to rectify that!
I had been just dying to work with this young family again ever since my husband and I did some Easter portraits of their girls back in 2013. But this time it will be the whole family! Keisha confessed to me that it has been years since she and her husband Jacob had gotten portraits taken of themselves, perhaps not since their wedding! I think this must happen to a lot of parents, your focus is always on your children instead of yourselves. Well luckily, I know just how to rectify that! A woman after my own heart, Keisha has a great eye for color! I loved the bright and cheerful coral and aqua blue color scheme that she picked out for the session. The youngest wasn't quite always on board yet with smiling for the camera, but luckily she ended up having so much fun that we were able to capture some great expressions. Parents, I can't stress enough how important it is to exist in family photographs. I know your whole world tends to be about your children, and for good reason! But when your kids grow up they're going to cherish these images of Mom & Dad. Not to mention it will be a treat for your future grandchildren to see as well!

These are fantastic! I wish I would have done more family portraits when my kids were younger.
