After all was finally said and done, Montana and Philippe received their custom designed album, in blue of course! I must say I'm pretty proud of all the work that went into it. I also offer these albums for portrait shoots, although they won't have quite as many pages as this one. Message me if you're interested in photography for a small wedding or portrait session.
Shortly after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon last year, I was contacted by an out of town friend who was hoping to book me for her wedding in 2015. It was to be a simple, laid-back, very un-stuffy, family and friends affair, but Montana & Philippe both knew that having professional images of such a special day was not something they could skip or leave to chance. Well how could I say no to friends who really value photography, and even better, are excited about my work and style?! It's pretty much a dream situation! The bride & groom were both very excited to do a "First Look" on their wedding day. If you're not familiar with this lovely semi-new tradition, its where the couple has a private moment before the ceremony to see each other for the first time and get some of their jitters out. It's really fun to do a big reveal of their formal wear, and can lead to joyful tears (in my case) or awesome facial expressions (as you can see by our groom, Philippe's face). The chapel for the ceremony had beautiful stained glass windows! After the ceremony, we got back outside and make use of all the fun architecture and bright greenery! Montana and Philippe were such a fun-loving couple, everyone just had to cut loose and get silly with them! I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful blue sky! I loved the details and colors that Montana chose for her dress and decorations. A girl after my own heart! My husband and I fully appreciated a little nerdy awesomeness in this hand-painted sign of famous fictional couples: The reception was full of hand-crafted fun: from the wooden guest sign-in frame, to custom built outdoor games, to a home-made do-it-yourself photo booth! My husband Garrett and I had just an absolute blast photographing Montana and Philippe's wedding! I would say it was a day of the 3 G's. Good people, good times, and good pictures. Sorry to disappoint, but the quilt stays with me!
